mEducation Alliance in Washington DC

biNu and Worldreader presented at the mEducation Alliance in Washington DC. Mark Shoebridge from biNu and Elizabeth Wood from Worldreader spoke about using feature phones to access a cloud based library of books. The conference was organised by USAID and was attended by over 200 people from around the world. The presentation described the use of biNu in an educational context and demonstrated how the users read books on their phones.

Using biNu and the Worldreader App in July there were there 480,000 readers consuming over 24 million pages (small screens). The majority of those reading were using screens 320×240 in size.
