When you go to the login link on the Facebook app in biNu, the phone will open a Facebook login page on your standard mobile browser. On some devices, the login button on this page is below the password entry field. However if you click the down button to move to the login button, it jumps over the button to the link below. IF this happens to you, please go back up to select the password entry field, and then push the right key instead of the down key. This will select the login button! Please note that Facebook host and control this page, so there is nothing we can do to fix this problem ourselves.

Can’t login to Facebook on your phone?
Posted by tim.wightman, September 15th, 2011
The biNu application needs to connect with your Facebook account. We do this by opening a browser on your phone. But some phones cannot display the Facebook Connect page. If it doesn’t work for you, we have a solution! Visit an internet cafe and go to this page: http://www.binu.com/Facebook/. Use this web page to connect biNu to your Facebook account. You only need to do this once, then Facebook will work inside biNu!
Still can’t login to Facebook?
Posted by tim.wightman, September 7th, 2011
In order to connect the biNu Facebook app with Facebook, you need to login to the standard Facebook WAP page using your standard mobile browser. The Facebook login page uses a secure HTTPS connection and sometimes this fails if the time and date of your phone are not correct. Check that you set the date and time on your phone to the correct values. This may or may not solve the problem on the Facebook login page. Note this is not the only problem that can occur on this Facebook page, but unfortunately we have no control over this Facebook hosted and controlled page.

Click the Login link to authenticate with your Facebook account. You will only ever need to do this once, unless you specifically wish to logout to disable Facebook access from your biNu account.
Why does the Facebook app open a browser window to login?
Posted by tim.wightman, September 6th, 2011
We need to open a browser window so that you can be properly authenticated on the Facebook servers. Once you have done this once, Facebook knows that you are logged in and we can store your session information within biNu. When you use biNu again and access Facebook, you will not need to login or open a browser window on your phone again.
Why does the biNu app needs so many Facebook permissions?
Posted by tim.wightman, September 5th, 2011
When you allow the biNu app to connect to your Facebook account it will ask for a number of permissions. We need to ask for these permission so that we can access your Facebook account and provide you all the features you need inside the app. Note that we do not use or store any of your personal information from your account or your posts or feeds or messages. All content can only be displayed to you when you are logged in. None of your information is shared with anyone else. At any time you can logout of the biNu Facebook app to disconnect the app from your account. We have many thousands of happy biNu Facebook users who enjoy using the app. See http://www.facebook.com/biNuApp for more details.
